About Us:
H.A.R.P. or Humane Animal Rescue Program is an
animal rescue group that was created in early 2008 by a group of young
adults who saw the need for change in a world so cruel to animals. HARP
strives to help every animal it comes into contact with whether the
problem is big or small. We are fighting to put an end to animal abuse,
over population, and reduce the statistics on animal euthanasia. HARP
believes that euthanasia should not be taken lightly and should only be used in the most dire situtations. We currently need fosters for our group
and would greatly appreciate any volunteers or donations made. We are
currently undergoing the proccess of becomeing a 501(3)(c) non-profit
organization, but are not yet. However, we are a program that is not for profit, we can guarantee you that any donation you make goes directly to saving and bettering the lives of the animals. If you would like to help let us know, we would greatly
appreciate it and so would our animals!

Hi, my name is Zora! I am almost one year old, and I am a female, Catahoula Leopard Mix. I really love to play! I have a lot of energy and love to play with toys. I really like to play with other dogs, cats, and my favorite, kids. My foster mom says that I am going to get a forever home! I am already spayed, microchipped, and have all of my vaccinations! I am not very big, only about 40 lbs, and I am fully grown. I am very friendly, and really like to sleep on the bed, and lay on the couch. Well, after a longer than expected delay. The H.A.R.P. website is back up and running, and not a moment too soon. While we still have a lot to catch up on, we cannot slow down. Just around the corner on June 7th, we will be participating in our second garage sale at Kingwood College. If you would like to volunteer or make donations, please contact us as soon as possible.
