H.A.R.P.
Humane Animal Rescue Program

Home Page
          About Us:
H.A.R.P. or Humane Animal Rescue Program is an animal rescue group that was created in early 2008 by a group of young adults who saw the need for change in a world so cruel to animals. HARP strives to help every animal it comes into contact with whether the problem is big or small. We are fighting to put an end to animal abuse, over population, and reduce the statistics on animal euthanasia. HARP believes that euthanasia should not be taken lightly and should only be used in the most dire situtations. We currently need fosters for our group and would greatly appreciate any volunteers or donations made. We are currently undergoing the proccess of becomeing a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization, but are not yet. However, we are a program that is not for profit, we can guarantee you that any donation you make goes directly to saving and bettering the lives of the animals. If you would like to help let us know, we would greatly appreciate it and so would our animals!

Lola     $100

HI GUYS! My name is Lola! Well I didn't have a name before, but my NEW name is Lola! I am about a year old, and Im a reddish-brown Pit bull mix! Scary huh!!! My foster mom found me, and my best friend Mattie, in a REALLY hot warehouse. Our people had left us there for a long time, and we were really hot, hungry, and thirsty! But my foster mom grabbed us up and took us lots of fun places! She lets us play OUTSIDE! (We had never been outside before) She gave us a comfy bed, and as much food and water as we wanted!!! I FINALLY got a bath, and got to meet the really nice vet. The vet spayed me, micro-chipped me, and vaccinated me. They say I'm all healthy now and am ready to be loved! I really love to play, and love new things! My foster mom says I'm super smart, and would do really well with some obedience training! She also promises that she wont let anyone mean take me, so unless you want to love me forever, don't bother emailing!!! Anyways, if you would like to let me sleep on your bed forever (HAHA ITS MY FAVORITE), then email my foster mom at harprescue@yahoo.com. THANKS! And I look forward to meeting you!

Stewie     $50

Hello, my name is Stewie. I am a male, shiny black, domestic short hair kitten. I am about one year old. Back in October of 2009 I was admitted to BARC, the city of Houston's animal control facility. I grew up there because even though I am really friendly, no one wanted to take a black kitten home. I was due to ...be euthanized, but my foster mom decided to save me and my brother just in time. Before I left BARC I was neutered, micro chipped, and given all of my vaccinations. I have been with my foster mom for about a month now, and I am really looking forward to having my own "forever" home. I'm a very friendly, and very playful kitten. I love to be petted, and get along really well with other cats. My absolute favorite thing to do is to play with my mouse, and then curl up in my fluffy bed.
